About Rememory
Rememory is a growing directory of creatives which highlights work and experiences of Black women and non-binary people doing the work needed to claim their narratives, gazes and legacies in the global media.
The name 'rememory' was inspired by Toni Morrison who first coined the term in her novel "Beloved." Ms. Morrison is remembered for centering black women and their narratives, for reminding us that Black stories matter without the white gaze and for utilizing creativity and intellect to impact the world for generations to come.
